- Archimedes:Archimedes was born in Sicily,Italy (287 B.C) to (212 B.C).In my opinion Archimedes is the most profound and origional mathematition of ancient times. When archimedes was growing up he was a phycist and also working as an engineer. People mainly knew archimedes as an inventor for his love of creating things . His surviving writings had ranked on inventions of scientific litterature. Especially an invention he called the "ARCHIMEDIAN SCREW". The archimedian screw raises water as the haandle is turning. Then the water is carried up by a spiral chamber inside the screw. Archimedes was one of the first people to create an ieda like this one. As Archimedes grew older he invented more and more things. Today Archimedes has acrater on the moon named after him. Lastly the asteroid 3600 Archimedes is named after him. This is our report on Archimedes.
